1. Acceptance & Organization Authority
By accessing our website, launching our tactical canvas editor, or subscribing to any plan, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
Age Requirement: You must be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum legal age required in your country of residence to use online gaming and communication software). If you are under 18 years old, you represent that you have obtained consent from a parent or legal guardian.
Corporate & Team Representation: If you are purchasing or administering a subscription on behalf of an esports club, franchise, coach staff, or tournament organization, you represent and warrant that you possess full corporate authority to bind that entity.
2. Limited License & Permitted Use
Subject to your compliance with these Terms and active subscription standing, IGL Playbook grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable, worldwide license to access and use the platform solely for:
- Competitive tactical planning, rotation mapping, and vod review for competitive battle royale tournaments.
- Collaborative whiteboard briefings with registered teammates, coaches, and team analysts.
- Real-time ephemeral voice briefings within authenticated team rooms.
This license does not grant rights to sub-license, resell, redistribute, white-label, or publicly mirror the software engine to third parties.
3. Subscriptions, Invoicing & Cancellations
Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring monthly basis for the plan selected (e.g., Coach Plans or Esports Team Plan). Unless cancelled prior to your billing renewal date, subscriptions automatically renew at the then-current standard rate.
Payments are securely processed through Stripe. By initiating a subscription, you authorize Stripe and IGL Playbook to charge your provided payment method for all recurring subscription fees, taxes, and applicable currency conversions.
You may cancel your subscription at any time via the billing portal. Upon cancellation, your tactical canvas access remains active until the end of your current paid billing period. Due to the immediate provisioning of digital tactical assets and cloud resources, fees paid are non-refundable except where mandated by applicable consumer protection laws.
4. Hardware Fingerprint & Seat Allocation Limits
To safeguard our infrastructure and prevent illicit distribution of subscription credentials across unaffiliated gaming groups, our platform enforces a strict Hardware Fingerprint Lock:
- Coach Plans: Licensed for 2 to 5 distinct team rosters (each roster supporting 6 players + 2 coach slots per team).
- Esports Team Plan: Licensed for 1 single competitive franchise with up to 14 active hardware devices (active starting 4, substitutes, analyst, and coaches).
Attempting to bypass hardware lock limits, spoof device fingerprints, share team master logins across rival clubs, or multiplex room access via proxies constitutes a material breach of these Terms and will result in immediate termination without refund.
5. Acceptable Use & Anti-Tampering
You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited behaviors:
- Reverse engineering, decompiling, disassembling, or extracting the source code of the tactical canvas or WebSockets sync protocols.
- Deploying automated scrapers, spiders, or bot networks to siphon map tiles, assets, or tactical drawings.
- Launching denial-of-service (DoS/DDoS) attacks against our synchronization endpoints or interfering with other teams' sessions.
- Attempting to intercept, eavesdrop, or gain unauthorized access to private rooms belonging to competing teams or coaches.
- Using the platform for any illegal purpose or uploading defamatory, obscene, or infringing content onto canvas drawing boards.
6. Intellectual Property & Strat Ownership
The IGL Playbook name, logo, user interface designs, custom iconography, canvas rendering engine, synchronization algorithms, and software code are the proprietary intellectual property of IGL Playbook.
You and your esports organization retain sole ownership of all tactical intellectual property created using the Service, including playbook drawings, rotation notes, and competitive setups. We claim zero proprietary rights over your strategies.
7. Live Comms & Tactical Room Etiquette
When utilizing integrated real-time audio rooms and live multiplayer canvases:
- Users must conduct themselves professionally and refrain from hate speech, harassment, or severe disruptive conduct.
- Team coaches and room hosts are solely responsible for managing device access invites to ensure unauthorized players are not admitted.
- Audio transmissions are strictly ephemeral; users acknowledge that IGL Playbook does not retain audio logs to resolve team disputes.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL IGL PLAYBOOK, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR SUPPLIERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, TOURNAMENT SEEDING, OR GOODWILL.
IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO IGL PLAYBOOK IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
11. Suspension & Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your access to the Service without prior notice if you violate these Terms, fail to pay subscription invoices, engage in hardware key reselling or seat spoofing, or engage in abusive conduct detrimental to the platform.
12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with applicable laws without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be resolved first through informal good-faith negotiations, and if unresolved, through binding arbitration.
